City/town information
Burlington is the known as the west coast of Vermont. It's a small city, but with lots of great dining and pub options, shopping, wonderful parks and of course Lake Champlain. It's home to the University of Vermont, the UVM Medical Center/hospital, Champlain College (my alma mater!), Church Street Marketplace and more. BTV is also about 40-60 minutes to 5 different popular ski resorts.

South Burlington is only a couple miles from downtown Burlington. It's home to the Burlington International Airport, Vermont National Golf Course, University Mall and (for now) Higher Ground indoor music venue. It's more suburban than Burlington, but has bike paths that connect to Burlington (with more being built soon). Plus plenty of dining, shopping and parks to play in too!

Neighborhoods
My home and Studio 271 are located between Williston Road and Kennedy Drive. It's within walking/biking distance to schools, trails, bike path, Al's Ice Cream, Trader Joes and other shopping/restaurants. I love the super convenient location.

Food scene
Nearby restaurant and steakhouse. Delicious farm to table meals, local meats and cheese, craft cocktails. Locally owned restaurant. No outdoor seating though. Great place for a special occasion or treat.

Quick easy dinner and excellent ice cream - both creemees (soft serve) and hard ice cream. Try the Maple Madness - my fave! Can easily walk/bike here from the studio.

Who doesn't love Target? Some of the decor in the studio is from here! This Target isn't as big as others and doesn't have a huge selection, but I still like it. You could technically bike/walk here.

Sightseeing
Walking trails, flower gardens, nice mountain views. I believe you can get free books here too and they offer dinner to go on some nights. Nearby is Veterans Memorial Park which has Food Trucks and music in the summers on some Thursdays. You can bike here!
