The cafe is only open on certain weekends but has a lovely menu of home made cakes and meals - it’s a 15 minute walk from Hectore house and is set in an old barn which also has exhibits and local products for sale like pottery and woodwork

Sightseeing
Beautiful walks with rare animals butterflies and birds - I have recently seen wild pigs long horn cattle fallow deer and heard turtle doves ( almost the only place left in the Uk where they live ) All animals are free roaming so you never know what you may bump into !

Hire a small dinghy to motor up the river Arun
If it’s a lovely sunny day this is 10 minutes drive - you can hire a dinghy and gently motor up the river Arun - beautiful scenery- also hire electric bicycles and kayaks - cafe has eating areas on the riverbank as well as inside if weather bad - serve breakfast lunch and afternoon teas
