Unless you hire means of transport, the Public transport is your option! its a bit time consuming to get from one place to the next, but you have the bright side of sight seeing ! The most cost effective way is to buy the Day-ticket or even better the 7-day one as its way much cheaper then paying for each trip;

You may purchase this in the Malta International Airport, Departures lounge from Agenda Book shop (during open hours). Another cost-effective way for sightseeing is to take the open deck 'London' Buses, they take you around everywhere.
