Lovely large palace with beautiful gardens. The guides in the rooms of the palace were full of information. The signs in each of the rooms had a good amount of information and it was interesting to read.

For every Jeremy Clarkson fan this is a must visit location. In the shop you can purchase local products from the farm and also souvenirs to choose from such as aprons, t-shirts and hats. There is a large area out the back that serves food and drinks.

Batsford Arboretum has beautiful grounds for walking and exploring. It is a ticket entry location, therefore advance booking is advised. Dogs are welcome and there is even a cafe to enjoy a light snack!

Taxis can be in short supply
At peak times taxis can be a little hard to source, we strongly recommend advance booking to avoid any stress.
Excelsior Taxis are the recommended service.

Located only 10 minutes from Kingham and Charlbury stations
If you are planning on travelling from London by train, Kingham station would be your better option as taxi fares are approx £15 to Chipping Norton. Please note neither of the local stations have taxi ranks and advance booking is a must!
