City/town information
There are many local restaurants within about 13 min of the Mini Resort. Enjoy the downtown and old town of Auburn. Lots of shops and interesting buildings. There is also a little museum in the Superior Court house, the historic building you will see lite up at night.
If you come visit the first weekend of December, there is the festival of lights parade. Amazing!!!
There is a farmers market on Friday and Saturday (check on-line for more details).

Nevada City is located only 4 miles from Grass Valley and has a wonderful downtown to explore. Many restaurants, shops, entertainment and historic buildings to explore. Also check for activities. They have special things going on in December and the summer finds many things to do as well.

Sightseeing
There is a day use area at the bear river that is wonderful. It has lots of beach (mostly rocks until you get close to the water). There is hiking from this area too. It's about a 10 min drive from the Mini Resort.
