Right around the corner is the Cafe Dar el Bacha in the Musee des Confluences. The building itself is worth a visit and they have the largest selection of coffee I've ever seen, incredibly delicious cakes and the overall ambiance is very special! The entrance is also the entrance to the museum - right on the corner where you enter the souks.

Beautiful terrace in the middle of the souks. One of the all-time-favourites in town. Nice food, great service and the perfect place to watch the sun go down. Less than 5 min walk from the riad.

This got to be my most favourite restaurant EVER! Love the vibes, the food, the wine, the service. Everything is just perfect about this place. It‘s situated in Gueliz but definitely worth the short taxi ride.

About 30-40 minutes outside of Marrakech there is a great donkey/mule sanctuary run by an elderly English couple. The work they do is so important and impressive and as a visitor you get a little tour with a lot of explanation! www.jarjeer.org It is best to let them know about your visit either by telephone or via their website.
