Whether its a stroll, a jog or a full day in the park walking and discovering its beautiful flora and fauna or for the more adventurous hire a bike and explore the varied routes; short, medium and the long haul. The sculptures are the main gig in the park.....fascinating and at one with their environment. An absolute must for any visitor to Ireland, a hidden gem in the middle of the country.

Visit the old cross and get a feel for the life of a monk in the 11th century in the recently renovated old church on the grounds and not forgetting the Holy Well not far from the old Church & the headache stone if you can locate it; said to relieve all headaches!
9th of June the locals celebrate their favourite Saint (Columcille) with religious services, procession to the well, music and feasts up and down the Eiscir Riada!
