Enjoy a walk to Weem (about twenty minutes) and enjoy a meal overlooking the valley. Good food, friendly service. Ask for a table with a view when you book. A nice stroll home but take a torch if it’s after sunset!

This Art Deco cinema was restored and reopened in 2013. As well as being a lovely cinema, it also does pre- and post-film meals, as well as breakfast and lunch during the day. As it has a licensed bar, you can take your favourite tipple into the film!

Highland Safaris offers Landrover safaris to spot wildlife as well as gold panning and on-site wildlife to entertain the children. It also has an excellent cafe and gift shop. It’s about an hour’s walk along the river (follow signs for Kenmore, then to Dull) by which time you will have earned your cake. It’s also a good stop if returning from a day out to Glen Lyon or places to the west of Aberfeldy.

B846Highland Safaris offers Landrover safaris to spot wildlife as well as gold panning and on-site wildlife to entertain the children. It also has an excellent cafe and gift shop. It’s about an hour’s walk along the river (follow signs for Kenmore, then to Dull) by which time you will have earned your cake. It’s also a good stop if returning from a day out to Glen Lyon or places to the west of Aberfeldy.
A must visit for the whisky connoisseurs. Enjoy a distillery tour, or just browse the shop, have a coffee in the cafe with a nip on the side.

Not cheap, but absolutely amazing chocolates. Worth visiting to learn about how they’re made and get a couple for the journey home. Stroll round Grandtully and Strathtay, watch the canoeists on the River Tay, or sit outside at the next door Ballintaggart restaurant (also in the guidebook) with a coffee and one of your chocolates. It’s about a six mile walk along the river from Aberfeldy to Grandtully.

Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier
Not cheap, but absolutely amazing chocolates. Worth visiting to learn about how they’re made and get a couple for the journey home. Stroll round Grandtully and Strathtay, watch the canoeists on the River Tay, or sit outside at the next door Ballintaggart restaurant (also in the guidebook) with a coffee and one of your chocolates. It’s about a six mile walk along the river from Aberfeldy to Grandtully.
