A great place for a picnic, or a short swim in the summer. There is a big playground, a pizzeria and ice cream place close by, public toilets are open in the summer. Walks around the lake are enjoyable no matter what the season is: cross the first bridge next to the railroad bridge to get to the other side of the lake and back (about 50 minutes walk in total).

You can reach this lake by public transport within 30 minutes (S1 from Dürrenhof). There is a restaurant and public toilet. A great getaway in summer. There is a bigger lake close by called Happurger See where you can stand up paddle. There is a restaurant and you can hike up to Hohler Fels for nice views.
