Crestline: A Charming and Historic Mountain Town
Crestline is the closest mountain resort town to the major cities of Southern California. Nestled in the San Bernardino National Forest, Crestline is surrounded by alpine vistas and home to the beautifully serene Lake Gregory.
Lake Drive runs alongside the lake and extends into a small town main-street full of antique and gift shops, coffee bars, a hardware store, a photo studio, restaurants, nurseries and markets. Historic Old Town Crestline is located at the top of the town along Crest Forest Drive.
Visitors flock to Crestline during the summer holidays. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends are known for the tradition of yard sales throughout town with tons of great finds. The town comes alive for Jamboree Days around the 4th of July, including a town parade and fireworks over the lake.

Lake Arrowhead Village is a short 17 minute drive away along one of the most beautiful scenic highways in California. The lake itself is private, accessible only by Lake Arrowhead property owners. The Village however, is very much open to the public. A wonderful place to explore, full of options for shopping, dining and entertainment. Activities
Lake Gregory Regional Park offers a great place for visitors to escape the summer heat of Southern California. The lake's surface is at an elevation of 4,550 feet and the ridges around the lake climb up to a thousand feet higher. Summer temperatures are often 20 degrees cooler than in San Bernardino, which is only 14 miles away by car. Unlike Lake Arrowhead, which is private, visitors can swim, boat and fish in Lake Gregory. With four distinct seasons, the lake is enjoyable year round and each season brings a different kind of beauty to enjoy. Lake Gregory is very serene, as no gas motors are permitted on the lake. During the summer months, visitors can swim, ride on a 300-foot water slide, or enjoy the inflatable water park. The boat house is open year-round for visitors to rent Duffy Boats, Pedal Boats, Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Aqua Cycles. You can also bring your own boat to the lake for a small launch fee of $10 / day.
