A pretty mellow downtown area with lots of local restaurants and shops, and a big park right in the middle (Acacia Park). Easy to walk or rent an ebike or scooter. There is a free shuttle as well.

Fun little community to explore, adjacent to Colorado Springs. Feels like a quaint little mountain town. A bit of a tourist trap in the summer, so be prepared for traffic and crowds. Lots of shops restaurants, parks, a penny arcade, very walkable.

Our temperature shifts fairly drastically from day to night even in the summer, so bring layers!
At this altitude you can get a bad sunburn in 15 minutes, so bring lots of sunscreen and a sun hat!

Avoid altitude sickness and dehydration. Make sure you drink plenty of water. You can dry out here super fast!
