Camberwell is a 25 min walk or shorter bus ride down the hill, and has a range of really nice restaurants (our favourites are Silk Road, Wuli Wuli, Theo's, Francesco's, FM Mangal) and pubs (Stormbird lets you take in takeaways, and Hermit's Cave has a nice vibe). Makes for a fun evening out.

Camberwell is a 25 min walk or shorter bus ride down the hill, and has a range of really nice restaurants (our favourites are Silk Road, Wuli Wuli, Theo's, Francesco's, FM Mangal) and pubs (Stormbird lets you take in takeaways, and Hermit's Cave has a nice vibe). Makes for a fun evening out.

Herne Hill farmers market is every Sunday 10:00 am-4:00 pm and worth a visit if you're staying. It's in the semi-pedestrianised area near the station. Can really recommend Flippin' Nell if their stall is there, and all the other food is great too.
