About 15 minutes away. Every Sat morning to early afternoon May through mid November and then every other Saturday during the winter (confirm on their website for the day you may be looking at). Fresh veggies and great food vendors! Our favorite is butternut squash soup but there is lots more for everyone if you want something else.

Walk or bike across this bridge across the Hudson River for some amazing views. The Highland parking lot is around 27 minutes away. Use 87 Haviland Rd., Highland, ny, 12528 in your gps. If you want, once you cross you can even take an elevator down on the Poughkeepsie side and explore on the other side of the Hudson.

61 Parker AveWalk or bike across this bridge across the Hudson River for some amazing views. The Highland parking lot is around 27 minutes away. Use 87 Haviland Rd., Highland, ny, 12528 in your gps. If you want, once you cross you can even take an elevator down on the Poughkeepsie side and explore on the other side of the Hudson.

My favorite hike is Gertrude’s Nose (but hold your kids and/or dogs a little close due to quick drops). If Minnewaska parking lot is full you can continue further on the road and try the Awosting parking lot and Awosting trails.
About 25 mins away. Lots of varied trails and great views! Exterior views here were featured in the Amazon series “Upload” as the heavenly and elite community of fictional ‘Lakeview’.
