Don't let it's strip mall location fool you ! Great spot for a nice dinner out. Some of the best food we have had on the island. They don't take reservations but tables turn quickly.

Shopping for the Basics
Although it's a little further than Publix and Food Lion, we love Lowes. Great selection, awesome house brand items, generously portioned deli subs, and half price beer and wine in the tasting area on Thursdays!

If you want to enjoy the Island in a golf cart, give John's a call. Schedule early during peak season. Just be sure to follow local rules about where you can drive (hint: not on the main highway) and make sure everone is wearing their seatbelt as the police will pull you over. Current price is $60/day for a 4 seater and cart can easily park under our home

Although its a bit of a drive, if you want a unique experience, visit Cedar Island for a horse ride on the beach. If it's warm out, go in the morning or at sunset. The ride to the nearby Island is fun as the horses go through the water.

120 Driftwood DrAlthough its a bit of a drive, if you want a unique experience, visit Cedar Island for a horse ride on the beach. If it's warm out, go in the morning or at sunset. The ride to the nearby Island is fun as the horses go through the water.
Although you would need to make a day trip our of it, seeing wild horses on an Island is awesome. Take the ferry from Beaufort and enjoy a scenic ride, then walk the Island. Take a cooler and enjoy a day there.
