If you love southern food and not on a diet, this is the place for you. Killen’s is known for their BBQ located in Pearland (25 mins away), but this is their southern restaurant. Their fried chicken, pot pie, and chicken fried chicken are my favorite dishes! I would come hungry since the portions are HUGE

The original Ninfa’s on Navigation is a historical restaurant in the Houston food scene. They have amazing TEX mex and in my opinion better than El Tiempo. The restaurant is located in East Downtown (EADO) which has a lot of bars to go out! Make a reservation on Open Table they can get booked up

Heights Bier Garten has two sides of the bar. One side is beer the other side makes fancy cocktails! This place is extremely dog friendly and also has a full menu for food! Very casual atmosphere

Midtown is a younger crowd when going out at night ( early to late 20’s). There are a lot of cool instagramable bars : wonder bar, 77 degrees, FAO bar, unicorn disco, and electric feel good. Still a fun place to go out! On Thursday nights at the little woodrows they may have turtle race happening.
