The Appalachian Trail has several entrances onto it close to our house. There's an entrance just 7 minutes from here. A not too difficult hike, but so much beauty!

This a family oriented theme park about an hour from our house. You can purchase an all day wrist band or buy tickets as you need them. More affordable for a family not needing as many rides or not able to stay all day.
