This is a good hike but not super easy. It is a steady uphill climb. Takes approx 45-1 hour to reach the top of the mountain. This mountain is very popular with mountain bikers so you have to be careful and watch out for fast moving bikers! Well worth the hike though as there are many spots to take in the views of the Cowichan Valley and beyond.

This is a moderate little hike which goes in a loop around some very scenic ocean views. The whole hike takes approximately 45 min if you don’t stop but you will want to stop and take in the ocean views. Beautiful hike all around and only minutes from our vacation suites.

This is worth the drive south of Duncan. The Kinsol trestle is beautiful and is the largest wooden trestle in North America. Restored a number of years ago. You can even bike out along the Trans Canada trail from south Duncan. An easy flat ride.
