If you’re looking to explore, just 25mins away, North Bay waterfront / marina has a few beautiful sandy beaches to choose from, the water is shallow for a long way out. It’s a great spot to spend a day out, complete with bike and boat rentals, ice cream shop at the end of the pier (a must have if you go!) and ample free parking.

West Duchesnay Falls Trails
This is a beautiful hike, just at the edge of town.
Devil's Rock
Just an hour north of us is this spectacular hike with amazing views.
Just south of North Bay is Cranberry trail, an easy walk for our young hikers, groomed for strollers and bikes, in winter shared with sled sets, complete with a look out over the marsh and waterfront access at the end.

This is a well groomed wooded family trail, easy for young and old to navigate with strollers/bikes. It has a lookout over the marsh and ends at the lake.

Marathon Beach on the North Bay Waterfront is a perfect spot to soak in the sun, long sandy beach, playground, shaded picnic tables, ice cream shop on the pier and washrooms make it easy to spend the day without having to leave. Great for families.
