York Minster is open daily for sightseeing. Tickets must be booked in advance.  We’ve kept a number of measures in place to help keep our staff, volunteers and visitors safe including strongly encouraging anyone visiting the cathedral to wear a face covering. Sightseeing opening times: Monday to Saturday: 9.30am to 4.30pm, with last admission at 3.45pm. Sunday: 12.45pm – 3.15pm, with last admission at 2.45pm. The Undercroft Museum and Central Tower are now open but we are limiting visitor numbers in these spaces. Entry to the Undercroft is free with general admission and you can book tickets in advance to climb the Central Tower. Tickets for sightseeing must be booked in advance online.
