If you are looking for a relaxing day out seeing the Norfolk broads, hiring a day boat is a great activity! There are numerous boat hire companies in and around wroxham, take a picnic with you, or moor up at a pub either way it’s a great day out! 15min drive from bungalow. Wroxham also has a department store, pub and takeaways to enjoy.. best local place to grab fish and chips by the river 👍

Wroxham Boat Hire
Riverside RoadIf you are looking for a relaxing day out seeing the Norfolk broads, hiring a day boat is a great activity! There are numerous boat hire companies in and around wroxham, take a picnic with you, or moor up at a pub either way it’s a great day out! 15min drive from bungalow. Wroxham also has a department store, pub and takeaways to enjoy.. best local place to grab fish and chips by the river 👍
If you want to go and explore the city there are lots of great attractions to visit.. cathedral and castle, and plenty of shops/restaurants… if there is anything in particular you would like me to recommend, please ask! Norwich is a 15 minute drive away, best places to park for shops is chantry place, or if you are looking for sightseeing park at castle quarter! If you don’t fancy driving there is a bus service from blofield (first bus - 15) or train from brundall station (20min walk away, but there is then a 10min walk into Norwich from the station, or a bus to take you into the city centre)

If you are looking to head to the coast, want amenities but don’t want to travel far Great Yarmouth is where to go… amusements, piers, fun fairs, crazy golf, sealife centre, this place has it all! It’s less than 30minute drive, with parking on the sea front, it’s easily accessible even if you only fancy going for an hour in the evening to grab some chips or a freshly cooked doughnut!

Delicious fish and chips - from experience.. one large portion of chips feeds 2!! I don’t tend to take photos of my food… so no pictures to add.. but would recommend!

Whenever I have been here I have had a great meal… booking is a must! They have won lots of awards!! They offer takeaway/deliveries too, again, 5minute drive from the bungalow.
