This place is a great place for breakfast and sandwiches. It is in the same parking lot as Stop and Shop. Their coffee is not the best but their food is great. My family eats here so much.

The best ice-cream shop in town. Located within walking distance to our beach house. Their portions are large. The smallest size listed is a kiddie but the locals know you can also order a half kiddie.

This place is funky fresh! The views are amazing and the castle and it's owner are so quirky. It Is wonderful to tour it. On Thursday nights they do out door movies. A great rainy day activity.

This is a great little museum and a great place to take the kids. They have awesome touch tanks where you get to see what lives under the sea. They also have a great gift shop with Gloucester and sea things. They also have so many great programs for kids to drop into while in Gloucester and they do sail trips on 2 different amazing old schooners

They still hall boat out of the water using an age old system that uses the tides and a cradle to move the boats on and out of the water. When they are closed after 5 and on weekends, you can walk around and se all the boats they are working on.

This granite pier jets out into the ocean is what creates the breakwater for the harbor. You can walk out to end of the dog bar. There is a lighthouse there too. It costs $5 to park there and is a great spot for photos. If the Eastern Point Guard tries to stop you, just tell him you are heading to the Dogbar.
