We live in a mostly residential neighborhood but within a mile or two are some great places to eat or drink coffee. Check em out.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood. It's a hole in the wall, closed Mondays and Tuesdays and cash only, the fish is incredibly fresh and everything on the menu is fabulous. Very inexpensive but nothing cheap about it.

This is my new favorite local coffeehouse. Great coffee! Really nice staff and a cool building. 10 block walk down the hill on Gramercy.

Grocery Stores
West Adams is the oldest neighborhood in Los Angeles built outside of downtown. Our house was built in 1908. Terrific to walk around the neighborhood looking at the great old houses.
