Many great restaurants - Gladstones - fun brewpub, Atlas - always great food, Locals - good but very expensive, Mudsharks Cafe - great coffee and food, Air Park Walk, good shopping downtown especially on 5th street. Many great restaurants - Gladstones - fun brewpub, Atlas - always great food, Locals - good but very expensive, Mudsharks Cafe - great coffee and food, Air Park Walk, good shopping downtown especially on 5th street. Our favourite places to be active
Excellent in the winter for alpine and nordic skiing and snowshoeing. The nordic area has 55km of cross country skiing with the lovely Raven lodge that has a cafe. The alpine area has a pub and restaurant.
During the summer and fall, there is a zipline, mountain biking, hiking, patio restuarant and chairlift rides.

Our absolute favourite walk that takes you to the beach - inside the Goose Spit. About 3-4 km there and back. Access on Cortez Crescent.

Excellent brewpub with great food. This is our favourite one. Parking can be tricky. You can park at the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot or at the Pentecostal Church.

Great selection of drinks and a good vibe. Food is OK - not the best. We prefer the food at Land and Seas. But the deck is spectacular in the summer and on colder days with heaters.
