Just close to it is the Arcade which is a shopping complex that has been beautifully renovated from the buildings that were the former Jawatta Lunatic Asylum and the former Western Provincial Council .

This cafe has short eats for a quick bite as well as a lovely sit out restaurant where you can enjoy Sri Lankan, Italian or Chinese food with fresh juices under the shade of some beautiful trees.
