Townsend is a small friendly town where all are welcomed. There are several local restaurants, grocery store-Mike's only 5 min away and Pinches Hardware Store as well as a Shell Gas Station. Also there is Powers Sports where you can rent a boat. ( need lots of advance notice)

Lakewood is the next town over south of Townsend about 7 min drive. In Lakewood is a larger grocery store, numerous restaurants and bars, a winery, coffee house and the most amazing candy shop you will ever see!

Looking to swim and hang out at the beach? There are 3 locations ranging from 15-30 minutes drive from the property
"Boot Lake Beach", Wheeler Lake Beach" and " Bass Lake Beach"- Update my favorite is Bass Lake Beach only 10 minutes away and the larger of the beaches. Nice and clean, picnic area and bathrooms. There is a $5 charge for your car so bring cash

Weather can change by 30 degrees so pack a swim suit and a sweat shirt! Beach and Bath towels are not provided so please bring your own.
Bug spray, suntan lotion, sunglasses. Adult and Kids Beverages, easy to cook meals-you want downtime at the lake! Gas grill is provided as well as a fully stocked kitchen.
