Little gem that has items from various local artists (jewelry, clothing, soaps, wall art, etc) in addition to their primary business which is plants, flowers and trees. I go in every chance I get!

Emerald Paradise has stairs & is easy .4m walk to the beach.
LOCATION. Bet 98 & beach! BEACH. A wagon provided for bringing chairs, umbrelllas, towels & beach toys to beach. There are eight beach towels, two umbrellas & two chairs - please rinse everything off/care for them like your own. GROCERY/GAS/ETC. Two grocery stores, CVS, Dunkin Donuts, Bubba's Pizza (great pizza, love Sweet Knots & they make their own Ranch dressing), Tom Thumb & The Salt Shed (a favorite of mine) are all less than a mile away. Pier Park is 7m east on hwy98. Twice The Ice is at the end of street - to load up on ice to keep your beverages cool.

Use the Baytown trolley & avoid taking hwy 98 at peak times.
Use maps to take more scenic routes, this way you can enjoy sightseeing and spend less time sitting and waiting.
Or, the Baytown Trolley picks up on Front Beach Road. Check rates and ride schedule at baytowntrolley.org for the daily pickup/drop off and see the area as a passenger!

Bring sunscreen. The sun is very hot and prevalent in PCB.
You can get sunscreen at the CVS or grocery stores. Your shoes will be sandy so bring slip ons or something you're comfortable with. Depending on time of year, you'll want to bring light airy clothing and possibly a jacket for the evening.
