Come rain or shine, day or night, you will have a fantastic forest adventure here. With 13 walking trails (including easy access), 6 cycling trails, 4 running trails, a Visitor Centre and Shop, 2 play areas, Go Ape, a Cafe, Bike Shop and hire, it really does cater for all.

We recommend exploring the coastline during your stay and walking from Cloughton to Scarborough or Cloughton to Whitby/ Robin Hood's Bay. Buses back to the cottage run every half an hour in both directions.

A classic pub with rough-hewn walls, an old wooden bar and a menu of steaks and local specialities. Very good value, family friendly and fantastic, hearty pub grub! One of our favourites spots.
