Matua is a lovely established suburb of Tauranga which has a peninsula-like feel with the beautiful water-front walkway. The closest grocery store is the Four Square on Cherrywood Drive, Cherrywood just 1.2km away.

Omanu Beach is one of our favourite beaches in Tauranga. It is between the Mount and Papamoa, has good surf, is less touristy than the Mount and is very dog friendly too.

Mount Maunganui is New Zealand's Gold Coast. It has a relaxed holiday feel. You can either enjoy a walk around the base, or hike up to the top to admire the views. Mt Beach has great surf options and Pilot Bay is typically the calmer beach good for paddle boarding and kayaking.
