The pier is a great place to fish. The hiking trail is an awesome there and back hike along the river. We also like to hike down the water and tie a tube to a tree and relax in the river.

You could hike all day here or you can go straight to the big falls and walk around all day all there. Cell service is basically nonexistent out there so plan ahead with food and download your GSP directions before you leave!

Fantastic gem! We highly recommend this italian spot. Order for pick up, make a reservation or enjoy the patio. No dress code but it is one of the only places in Canyon Lake where you can dress up and not feel out of place.

We love this place for views and steaks! They have amazing food all around but the steaks are well priced, huge and better than any name brand steak house! Dont be afraid to walk around the outside area for views! If it is too busy then head next door to Greune river grill, the food is also amazing but not usually as busy. If you can, ask to be seated by the window! Gorgeous!
