Well-known snorkel area in a protected cove. The beach is absolutely worth sitting on and enjoying for a couple of hours. When you arrive, they issue tickets with a timestamp indicating at what time you are able to enter (crowd control).

7455 Kalanianaʻole HighwayWell-known snorkel area in a protected cove. The beach is absolutely worth sitting on and enjoying for a couple of hours. When you arrive, they issue tickets with a timestamp indicating at what time you are able to enter (crowd control).
Moderate hike (4-5 miles depending on how far you take it out). Mostly shaded, but the views at the top are incredible. You can see both sides of the island from the southern point.
Careful with street parking - residents will report vehicles parked within 4' of the driveway.

Worth the effort to drive all the way to the top for some great photos. After driving past the entrance gate, follow the road up for about 2 miles. You'll know when you get there :)

We had a great experience with One Ocean Diving. As shark conservationists and researchers, their goal is to help educate and teach people all about the world of sharks. They'll provide snorkel gear for your guided dip with the sharks.
Highly recommend the experience!

Vegan sushi to die for. Ignore the vegan part - the things they do to these vegetables is so delicious it should be illegal. Definitely make reservations ahead of time, or order carryout on your way back from town.
