Sightseeing
Augusta is a beautiful quiet seaside town in the furthest southern edge of Cape Leeuwin. It has a wonderful Lighthouse 10 km south of town and the views of the South Cape coastline are stunning. Trails all the way to Augusta along the Wadandi offer a beautiful ride/walk through forests and farmland. Definitely worth a visit there are several great eating places and the world class location of the Augusta Hotel offers great counter meals. Augusta is a lovely place to have a wander and take in the sea air, or a peaceful walk along the river, stopping for the best fish and chips.

Gnarabup is our very own local beach where you can visit White Elephant for a seaside coffee, tea or breakfast/lunch with stunning views out over the bay. There is a beautiful coastal walk hugging the bayside which takes you all the way to Surfers point about 2km away, and then down to Rivermouth, a further kilometer. It's a wonderful family beach area with quiet calm waters, and then a longer stretch of beach further along from the boat jetty with a little larger waves. Great for Stand up Paddleboarding.

Gnarabup
Gnarabup is our very own local beach where you can visit White Elephant for a seaside coffee, tea or breakfast/lunch with stunning views out over the bay. There is a beautiful coastal walk hugging the bayside which takes you all the way to Surfers point about 2km away, and then down to Rivermouth, a further kilometer. It's a wonderful family beach area with quiet calm waters, and then a longer stretch of beach further along from the boat jetty with a little larger waves. Great for Stand up Paddleboarding.

Hamelin Bay
This is personally my favorite beach in the area. On a calm day when the sea breeze hasn't hit yet, it is a jewel of stunning beauty, with emerald waters sweeping a brilliant white sandy beach. Great for long walks along the beach, especially at low tide. Here you can visit the wonderful manta-rays, feed them from your hand and watch these incredibly beautiful creatures from just feet away.
City/town information
Cowaramup, affectionately known as "Cow Town" is 10 North of Margs and offers great food and delicacies along with some fabulous shopping for the intrepid traveler. Not at all far from the coast, if you drive a little south, you take the road to Gracetown, (another beautiful sleepy seaside town) where you can visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. When the surf is up it's a great place to perch on the hill and overlook the world class surfing spots. A must see if you are visiting the South West.

Morries is a great restaurant to chill, take in the vibes of some great musicians of an evening (usually only weekends) and enjoy some of our first class eateries... delicious inventive food choices and a wonderful local wine list.

Here you will find the best breads, cakes, pastries and small meals in Margs. Really really good coffee and a very relaxed eclectic environment to sit and watch the world go by. They make the best French Vanilla Slices we've ever tasted, but you have to get in early to get one of these as they literally WALK out the door! It's on the way out of town so many guests buy up their Margaret River breads on their way home to take with them.
