The bridge to the Redwood Forest is currently closed until further notice. We had a lot of damage to trees in La Niña. The great news is that you can see Redwoods near our property - just cross Brisbane Bridge and turn left along the walking track. One of the most popular attractions in Warburton is the Redwood Forest, an area of Californian Redwoods were planted by local government as an experiment, in 1930. Be sure to take a toilet trip prior to arriving here - as it only has a carpark and no other facilities!

There are a number of hotels and wine bars, but if you jump in the car for around 10-12 minutes, the Reefton Hotel is a cool hangout with music, super cold beer and great big old school pub meals.

These French trained bakers are open Wednesday and Sunday with daily freshly baked bread and dessert treats to die for. There is also a traditional fromagerie next door. Get in quick as they close doors as soon as they sell out!
