This place is an old time southern steakhouse. The setting is really an old red barn with a beautiful huge fireplace. The steaks, local seafood and fried chicken are all amazing and reasonably priced. Adjacent is the Treehouse Bar with live music and dancing 3-4 nights a week - so fun!!

The steaks, local seafood and fried chicken are all amazing and reasonably priced. Adjacent is the Treehouse Bar with live music and dancing 3-4 nights a week - so fun!!
They “smoke anything and everything behind the magic fence” is the tagline and sure enough the pork is good. Peel and eat shrimp a favorite too. But go for the live music and the atmosphere - you will never see a place like this again!

Beautiful island - state owned so there is an admission fee ($8 for a car). Miles of beaches, 4 public golf courses (cheap!) and a great public tennis facility for court time and lessons (again - cheap!).
Make sure you go through the Millionaire’s Historic District and into the Jekyll Club. Summer Waves is a great water park for families.
