Sightseeing
An hour drive for the unit is Emerald Creek falls - my all time favourite swimming spot. AWD is recommended as it's a corrugated unsealed road. It’s a 15 minute hot walk to the falls but absolutely worth it! There is a day use area and toilets a near the car park and shallow swimming for little kids) or you can walk to the falls. If your more adventurous you’ll find other secluded and spectacular spots along the way up the track.

An hour drive for the unit is Emerald Creek falls - my all time favourite swimming spot. AWD is recommended as it's a corrugated unsealed road. If your more adventurous you’ll find other secluded and spectacular spots along the way up the track.
Beautiful swimming but it is a 40
minute walk from the car park up a sealed track with some steep sections. Totally with it though.

Mossman gorge centre is your access point to Mossman Gorge which is the most beautiful river within Daintree National Park and no crocs! There are lots of swimming opportunities and you need to pay a small fee at the centre and a bus will take you to the swimming and picnic area.

A great place to have a dip on the esplanade or a BBQ. Beautiful in the evenings and only a $10 Uber away.

Cairns North is located between the ‘city’ and the airport. However as Cairns is so tiny, we are only a 5 minute drive to the centre of town or 30 minute walk.
