Legendary 3.5km-long Zicatela is the best-known surfing spot in Mexico courtesy of the tempestuous surfing waves of the Mexican Pipeline. The heart of the action, including the Pipeline, is at Zicatela’s northern end. Nonsurfers beware: the waters here have a lethal undertow and are not safe for the boardless, or beginner surfers either.

One of the prettiest Beaches in Puerto Escondido. Probably my favorite.
Best place to hook up to go fishing, dolphin watching and whale watching. Also great place to get fresh fish and oysters.Local beach with food and drink.

At Playa Bacocho, every day at 5pm, you can be part of this amazing experience of releasing your own little turtle. The sunset is awesome.

They have some of the best breakfasts on the coast: endless egg concoctions, huge fruit dishes, pasta and bowls of rich Oaxacan chocolate. Icing on the cake is the on-site bakery with a walk-up window offering coffee and baked goods.
