WELL worth the 1 mile hike up the rock to see the breathtaking beauty! Be sure to pack enough water. The gravel road to get there begins at Ginger Cake Acres just off Interstate 181 in the Linville Falls Area.

There is also a charming coffee shop with fantastic sandwiches, and the Blair Fraley Thrift store has some hidden treasures.
