This is a must visit, especially during pandemic related restrictions, because they have taken over 1 block of M Street to add outdoor dining. They have Mexican food like you’ve never tried before. Think high-end, aesthetically inspired, south of the border and tastes like you’ve never had but always wished for. This is Zocalo. The tostada and pozole are two of my favorites.

There is a Philz Coffee, Mendocino Farms, West Elm, Warby Parker, etc... here and all with a great outdoor vibe.

Most people don't know how special Loomis is, and I don't really want the secret to get out, but I will tell you...
1. High Hand Nursery at 3750 Taylor Rd. has a restaurant inside their gorgeous garden that is a must visit. Make reservations in advance, to avoid a 2 hour wait.
2. LBB Gastropub & Smokehouse at 3640 Taylor Rd. is the home of my favorite brisket outside of Austin Texas. It has a great outdoor patio for warm afternoons, and has been one of the only good options during Covid.
3. Feathered Nest at 3264 Taylor Rd. will inspire you with amazing interior decor.
