Make sure you go to Island Gelato in the shipping container on the south side of Oneroa village - awesome ice creams and gelatos - the salted caramel is out of this world

Old fashioned fish and chips just the way they used to be (though Fiona tells me they aren't particularly healthy) eat them on the beach and get sand between your toes - simply awesome

Our favorite breakfast spot on the island. Best salmon scrambled eggs on Waiheke (by a country mile) and always excellent service. Arrive early and get a seat up front and watch the world go by.

It gets very busy and the service can be slow but a great place for brunch/ coffee or a long lunch and to watch the world go by. Nice views over the bay.

The pizzas here are awesome -
On a nice night make sure to take some beer and go to Liitle Oneroa beach (10 meters away) and eat your pizza with the sand between your toes and watch the sun go down over the boats in the bay - very hard to beat this.

Drinks & Nightlife
A lovely vineyard and brewery - perfect for a long boozy lunch.
Lots of craft beer on tap. Great to watch the rugby on the big screen. Not the flashest pub, but like most Irish bars, loads of fun after a Guinness or two :)

Just at the bottom of our street is this very family friendly safe beach with a great kids play ground. At low tide hunt for shell fish at mid to high tide enjoy a swim. There is an outdoor shower by the changing sheds.
