This is a great place to walk to from the house. The river path and the roses at the garden are breathtaking. A great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Great place to chill and people watch. This is our favorite local brewery and food truck scene. Dogs are welcome. Rackhouse BBQ is the best Barbeque in town.

Bikes dominate local transportation in Eugene
Since the 1970's Eugene has been one of America's best bike towns. Small enough to go anywhere, big enough to explore for weeks, Eugene is always working to improve getting around by bike. - Be sure to use a U-Lock - as Eugene has also been a hotbed for bike thieves.

Great Hike right from the Haus.
Walking north to the river, the east 1.5 miles will put you at the River Play Park witch is great for little kiddos. The Skinner Butte trails start there. You can climb along the Columns and go over the top for a great view of Eugene downtown southward.
