110 Mitcham Rd(Now called Juliette's) Buzzy little local cafe. Since re-opening post Covid, they have a nice patio area located on Rookstone Road. This is just a stones throw away from Brightwell Crescent! Great coffee and yummy brunches.
We just visited this place for the first time (May 2021) and LOVED it. We had the five course sharing menu with the wine pairing. Great service and delicious food.

We love this place. It’s about a 30 minute drive if you leave early-ish at the weekend. There is a fantastic kids playground (you must book a slot in advance). Take a picnic and spend the day there.

We love this place. It’s about a 30 minute drive if you leave early-ish at the weekend. There is a fantastic kids playground (you must book a slot in advance). Take a picnic and spend the day there.
Lovely National Trust Park. Around ten minutes away in the car. Cafe, “natural playground”, river/stream. We often take a picnic, bikes, scooters and spend a morning there. There is also a lovely garden centre and lots of fish tanks in the aquatics centre (the kids love looking at these!).

Morden Hall RoadLovely National Trust Park. Around ten minutes away in the car. Cafe, “natural playground”, river/stream. We often take a picnic, bikes, scooters and spend a morning there. There is also a lovely garden centre and lots of fish tanks in the aquatics centre (the kids love looking at these!).
Our local green space. It’s a 15/20 minute walk (slightly uphill) so worth jumping in the car if you have young kids. There is a free car park on Dr Johnson Avenue. Great playground, cafe and pond.

Tooting Bec Lido opens to the public from 29 March to 30 September 2021. It is the largest fresh water pool in England, encircled by trees and birdsong. It is 100 yards long and 33 yards wide and contains one million gallons of water. It is COLD but very refreshing.
All swims must be booked through Places Leisure. You cannot turn up and swim.
