For a simple but tasty breakfast, come here for fun coffee drinks, delicious bagels and homemade cream cheese. The Vermonter latte with maple syrup is particularly delicious, as-is the everything bagel with garlic & herb cream cheese.

Swimming
For swimming, head to the downtown waitsfield swim hole. There's a huge parking lot behind the shops, and you'll see kids jumping off the bridge into the water all day. The water is deep, and this is better for older kids. Toddler would enjoy Lareau Swim Hole more because it's more sandy and has shallow areas.
