Like an indoor street market located on the main floor of the Midtown Building, there are lots of food and shopping options that are mostly small local businesses, and a huge variety of ethnic food options. Great for a group that can't decide what they want to eat!

Parks & Nature
The waterfall is gorgeous, and in the winter it freezes! The park is beautiful, and the trails at the foot of the falls are a lovely place to walk any time of year.

Our favorite park! There is a small lake in the middle of Powderhorn Park that has an island (just for birds) and a dock if you like to fish. There are playgrounds, a free wading pool for kids in the summer, and a walking path around the lake. A lovely serene place in the middle of the city!

Our favorite park! There is a small lake in the middle of Powderhorn Park that has an island (just for birds) and a dock if you like to fish. There are playgrounds, a free wading pool for kids in the summer, and a walking path around the lake. A lovely serene place in the middle of the city!

The most unique and affordable of the "junk shops" of South Minneapolis - a great place to search for a treasure! They are only open one long weekend a month, so you have to be luck to catch it, but it is right around the corner from the apartment.

Getting Around
About a six block walk from the apartment, this station is on the blue line of the Light Rail, and can get you to the airport, Mall of America, or the heart of downtown in minutes.
