A lovely way to spend a wet afternoon or even a sunny one.
Museum and Art Gallery.
I love it for the deco furniture, the ceramics, the new puppet display & local history. The Constable exhibition is also on until 8th October 2017 - Only 2 rooms but well worth a visit especially if you know the area and want to see what it used to look like.

A great little Thai place run by a Thai family. Very friendly staff. The food is lovely. Good value for money. Takes cash only but there is a cash point a few doors away. BYO bottle as no licence so this also keeps costs down. They also deliver, as they cook everything to order expect a 25 minute wait.
Very popular with young adults prior to going clubbing at the weekends. Mid week more for couples, family & friends.

116A Western RdA favourite when I work in the woods late at night, especially after a log delivery as I am usually too tired to cook.
Once a few years back myself and my partner were there and a very smart couple arrived and set next to us. It was only Helen Mirren. She was apparently making a film locally. If it is good enough for Helen Mirren it is most certainly good enough for me.
