when you come with the train the train usually stops at "Meidling" before it goes to "Hauptbahnhof". This stop is closer to my flat. from there you take the "U6" to "Westbahnhof", change to "U3" and go to "Ottakring" (endstation)

"International bus stop". if you arrive at "Stadion" you take the metro line U2 (direction "Karlsplatz) to "Volkstheater" and at "Volkstheater" you change to the U3 and go to the endstation "ottakring". from there it's about 5-8 min. walk to my flat.

Drinks & Nightlife
this is my favourite pub in this area and I can really recommend it! I like going there myself and it has it's own, very nice brew beer and really good pub food. also vegetarian burger and also some traditional viennese dishes...people are nice there and it has a cosy atmosphere and a smoking/non-smoking area. in the summer it even has a few tables to sit outside! highly recommendation!!!

180 Ottakringer Str.this is my favourite pub in this area and I can really recommend it! I like going there myself and it has it's own, very nice brew beer and really good pub food. also vegetarian burger and also some traditional viennese dishes...people are nice there and it has a cosy atmosphere and a smoking/non-smoking area. in the summer it even has a few tables to sit outside! highly recommendation!!!
Museumsquartier is a nice square, where you can find quite a few bars to hang out. In summer it is nice just hanging out on the square. This is also the place where you can find the art galleries "Leopoldmuseum" and "Mumok".

"gourmet spar" is directly at the exit of the underground station and very convenient when you are on your way home to my flat. It has some more "exquisit" food in comparison to a random "spar".

Is located just near the undergroundstation U3 "Ottakring", when you came out of the station right.
It has suuuch good Viennese food. I really love the taste of it. They have a seasonal menue uswell. Just try the food. It is amazing.
From 11.30-15.30 the have cheaper lunch menues on weekdays. Also worth trying.

You can choose salads, spreads and other food from a "counter", which is very typical for a "Heuriger", they also offer warm food. In summer you can sit in the garden. It opens around 4pm and is closed on Sundays.
