There is a weekly farmers market on Saturday called the Kitchener Farmer Market!

Galt is a beautiful historic town located just 25 minutes from Kitchener. Some historical dramas have been shot here because of its classical beauty. Architecture lovers MUST see this place.

Excellent one-of-a-kind Italian market. Amazing selection of cheese, meats, breads, pastas, olive oil, and more. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough. You can get food, coffee, and even gelato here!

A BUSY farmers market happens every Saturday here. Be prepared to haggle and be ready to get amazing deals on great fresh food. There are also food vendors. Great for people watching, and a really wonderful authentic market experience.

The Park was named after Queen Victoria ahead of her diamond jubilee on the British throne. The human-made lake is fed by Schneider Creek, surrounds three small islands, and is crossed by multiple bridges. The park also contains the Victoria Park pavilion, the Victoria Park Gallery and Archives, a bandstand, and a historic boathouse, a pub and music venue.

Located right next door to the AirBnb is Schneider Haus. This historic building was the first permanent European settlement in Waterloo region. There is a lot of history here and the lovely historical re-enactments here will bring you to a different age.

We just got streetcars/trams in the city! You'll see them zipping around - they connect Downtown Kitchener to Uptown Waterloo and the rest of the region! It's a quick and comfortable ride.
