Mullaloo is a very nice beach for a swim, has lifesavers for safety, can be flat but can also have some waves to enjoy at times too.
also has a grass area at the top with BBQs and gazebos, plenty of space to play cricket/kick a ball around. Swell cafe/restaurant is also very nice for food which is by the car park.

Great for a coastal walk, you can walk right up to ocean reef marina (maybe even Hillarys?!) Cafe there is great for breakfast (a little pricey though) you can rent a bike from the Cafe also.

Great day out! Have a swim, jump off the jetty and swim to the slide, many restaurants and bars (breakwater and 3 sheets is my fave) but also has cheap takeaways like subway, grilld etc. Sometimes have events as they have an amphitheatre so look it up during your stay :)
Aqwa is next to this car park, and it's also where the ferry will take you to rottnest

Amazing place on earth, very chilled out, rent a bike and go around the island exploring beaches and snorkelling, if your into history is also very interesting and can do a tour regarding that. Quokka selfies a must. There's also a bus that loops if bicycling is a no.

Nice park for a walk around joondalup lake, can sometimes see turtles at the jetty, lots of birds always, take a walk in the evening and you are very likely to see kangaroos along the way :) don't get to close to the bushes, lots of snakes by the river!! The island you can see out in the middle is apparently COVERED with black snakes!

200 Boas AveNice park for a walk around joondalup lake, can sometimes see turtles at the jetty, lots of birds always, take a walk in the evening and you are very likely to see kangaroos along the way :) don't get to close to the bushes, lots of snakes by the river!! The island you can see out in the middle is apparently COVERED with black snakes!
Great fun for the family/couples playing mini Golf.
Also has great food and sometimes bands on weekends, GREAT woodfired pizza

Best place in Perth for snorkelling, is quiet protected so doesn't get the sea breeze. While your here checkout Yanchep national Park for a koala and some Aussie bushland.

May also be the best place for snorkelling in Perth. Has 'caves' for the brave hearted to dive underneath and through. Make sure you go on a Min windy day.

Great wines and day out, mandoon estate for a tasting, walk over to sandalford, then ugly ducking for a cheeseboard! Many more wineries these are just my top 3 :) for the kids there's plenty of garden to play in so bring outdoor stuff, also mash brewery has a super golf next to it.
