You will love it! Amazing Czech bread made in the bakery which is so tasty. You can also get there a cup of coffee with traditional cakes and sweets from Czech. One of my favorite places around.

The closest bus stations are: Tolsteho, Slovinska and Kodanska. The closest tram stations are: Cechovo namesti, Koh-i-nor and Orionka. The closest metro station is Flora (12 minutes by walk).

Almost everything is allowed

- Czechs certainly do like freedom. You may do almost everything if it is not causing damage to somebody else or scandalize somebody else. - Czechs like beer and there are many small breweries in Czech, try some. - Even when Czech people do drink beer, we keep being polite and very peaceful (of course, you may meet a bad person). - it's cheap (it really is). - Prague is getting more and more international, there are many expats moving here. You can expect that most of the people you meet in Prague will speak English, but the level of English is decreasing with kilometers from Prague.

Restaurants

- Typical Czech restaurants are great to visit, there are often food specialities and great beer. I would recommend you to learn a bit of Czech to be nice to the locals, e.g.: Dobry den = good day, ahoj = hello, jedno pivo prosim = one beer please, dekuji = thank you, nashledanou = good bye. - when you are paying in the restaurant, it is usual to give about a 10 % tip depending on how much you like the service.

One day trips out of Prague

Kutna hora - the 3rd most visited city in Prague, it's about 1,5 h by train from the main train station. The historical centre is gorgeous with the view to St. Barbora cathedral, a bit out of the centre is very unique bone church. It definitely worth to see it! Karlstejn - Czech most famous castle with amazing nature around. It is about 45 minutes by train from the main train station. Melnik - counfluence of Vltava and Elbe rivers. The historical centre is very nice as well. There are vineyards around the oldtown. It is about one hour from the apartment.
