Lissand Sandy small beach with jetty is 15 min walk from the cottage. Walk towards the village centre and the food store Tempo.
Look for sign ”badplats” and walk down Gålarvägen - myrvägen and Badstrandsvägen. After crossing the train line you”re at the beach.

Intill museet står en lada med timmer daterat till 1200-talet.
I byn finns också Björgården, en lantgård med djur av lantgårdsraser, bla dalapälsfår. Egen produktion och försäljning av sylt saft chutney mm. Litet café med glass och kaffe.

This is where the Grey wooden Rättvikshorse is made. Two brothers makes handkrafted and painted wooden dalahorses. Several are made according to old models found in villages round the lake. The perfect souvernir, oldest models are from 1600’s and were probably toys.
