These are a few of our favorite spots located on Folly beach.
Drive, bike or golf cart to the end of folly on the east side of the island. Then take the walking path out to the lighthouse for some epic views of the ocean and Charleston.

Great spot that is walkable from our home on East Erie and 5th streets. Kids playground and New Pickleball courts!

Located on the west end of Ashley, the county park has just been redone with all new amenities, such as new outdoor showers and new bathrooms and snack bar. This part of Folly also has lifeguards on staff. Rentals are also available. Great Shark tooth spot as well!

Definitely a must when you are in Charleston! Grab a gelato and walk around the park and admire all the boats and people. If the weather is warm you can splash in the large fountain.

Yes, I realize that you have already booked a place, but the hotel has lots to offer even if you're not staying there. In the summer time the do movies on the beach. Don't forget the Freeze your Bills off Polar bear plunge on New Years Day. The outdoor tiki bar is fantastic for drinks and food on the beach. You can also rent chairs and umbrellas here if you would like.
