This is right on the Wicomico River... and they provide a shuttle from the Red Roost parking lot to the bar. If it is a calm evening, you might want to bring some bug spray. Really fun cocktails.

This is right on the Wicomico River... and they provide a shuttle from the Red Roost parking lot to the bar. If it is a calm evening, you might want to bring some bug spray. Really fun cocktails.
This is part of a family of local restaurants... along with the Red Roost. We finally visited this summer once their outdoor dining was open. Our sons really like the beer, especially a citrus one, and I really liked the pizza. Get the one topped with everything.

Cute touristy town on the way to Assateague, has some fun shops and food. Nice farmer's market from 9-1 on Sunday... just a small detour on your way to the beach.

This is about a 2-hour drive north, but if you are going that way... take the exit to explore the area. This is a spectacular amenity... and you be sure to view the canal the town of Chesapeake City... on the south side of the canal. Be sure to Google the canal's history before you go.
